"The Brothers" grew up on the ranch lands of West Texas where cattle, oil and real estate interests were the backdrop of their family company Megastar. Working in sales as part of the family business set them on a path of entrepreneurship, though they spent the first decades working apart developing businesses separately.
Brad Phillips
While attending college at Texas A&M, Brad founded the A&M chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity. Almost right out of school, he secured the job of the national sales manager for Vita Craft, a multi-million dollar cookware company headquartered out of WA. Following his years there, Brad created his own cooking school based in Olathe KS., Cooking Innovations.
Since that time, he has worked to expand finance and marketing operations with Status Alliance.
Scott 'Free'
Scott started his career as an entrepreneur in the restaurant business. He launched his first restaurant 'January's' when he was 22. He followed with four other restaurants including the popular 'Aussie's Oyster Bar & Grill' which he built at the ripe old age of 23. Scott's next ventures into distributorships would win him the dubious honor of an anti-trust action as he almost cornered the market on otc pharmaceuticals. In addition, Scott has developed numerous other businesses including a VIP concierge/sports management company.
